Kampong Glam, Little India & Chinatown with Local Street Food Tastings

1.Kampong Glam, Little India & Chinatown with Local Street Food Tastings

★★★★★★★★★★4.5 · 70 reviews · from $177Our pick

Explore three of Singapore’s best-known cultural neighborhoods with a private guide and nine local food and drink tastings. Expect street stalls, hawker-center dishes, a look at Sultan Mosque, and an MRT ride to Chinatown. Guides have included Grace, Joseph, Grayson, and Nigel. Hotel transfers are an optional upgrade.

“We had a really excellent time with Grace as our guide who was really knowledgeable. Definitely recommend this private food tour as it took us around different areas of Singapore where we tried things we wouldn’t normally. So why 4 stars and not 5? The chicken rice we had at the end was not great at all. Not tasty, and hardly any chicken. Was lucky to get two bites. So glad we ended up getting chicken rice the following day from a different place which was a night and day difference. Otherwise we’d have left Singapore with a very poor impression of the chicken rice famous dish.”

Liang our guide was very informative and gave us a lot of history and tips for where to go for breakfast and about the hawker centres. Gave me confidence for the next day and where/what to eat. Food was amazing. I really enjoyed trying the traditional items. I would definitely do this again if I am in a new place by myself.”
